Description

We are looking for a results-driven Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to take ownership of complex initiatives from inception to completion. In this long-term contract role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to oversee project schedules, costs, scope, and quality, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Based in San Francisco, California, this position offers an opportunity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while driving impactful outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on experience with GitHub.

Responsibilities:

Lead the planning and execution of projects, creating detailed roadmaps and ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget.

Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans that align with business objectives and uphold high-quality standards.

Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to manage a diverse portfolio of initiatives, ensuring measurable and repeatable success.

Implement an agile approach to achieve business outcomes, effectively navigating a matrixed organizational structure.

Perform hands-on tasks related to system implementations, user support, and scripting to ensure project success.

Monitor project progress, identify risks, and recommend actionable solutions to mitigate challenges.

Leverage data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive improvements in processes.

Facilitate clear and consistent communication across local and global teams, ensuring alignment and accountability.

Conduct regular status updates and present reports to stakeholders, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.

Requirements

Proven expertise in traditional project management practices, including team building, risk management, and project tracking.
Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity and bring clarity to complex projects.
Strong knowledge of finance, payroll, HR, tax, and legal operations in a subsidiary framework.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience managing local and remote teams.
Highly analytical and self-motivated problem solver with a talent for devising creative solutions.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Comfortable collaborating with global teams across various time zones.
Proficiency with tools like Atlassian Jira, ERP systems, and cloud technologies, or the ability to learn quickly.
