QA Analyst, Business Systems - Contract-to-hire - Remote




Objective:
The Business Systems QA Analyst ensures the quality and reliability of automations and integrations across the company's business systems. This role is responsible for testing new features, validating system changes, documenting issues, and collaborating with internal teams to minimize disruptions and enhance system performance.




This is a contract-to-hire position which will be remote. Candidates must reside and work in the continental United States. Candidates must also be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship both now and in the future. This position will be based on Central time hours. Contract pay range is $32-40/hour depending on experience.




Responsibilities:



  • Plan and perform QA testing across platforms such as Salesforce, ERP systems, BigCommerce, APIs, and form integrations.

  • Understand business needs to ensure technology solutions align with company goals.

  • Test and validate new system features, updates, and integrations before and after deployment.

  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify quality or operational issues.

  • Document, track, and communicate software defects or system problems.

  • Provide initial support for QA-related system concerns and assist in root cause analysis.

  • Support cross-functional teams with temporary data entry or workflow tasks during tech rollouts.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Business Systems.




Required Skills:



  • Knowledge of QA methodologies and tools, particularly for integrated SaaS platforms (e.g., Salesforce, ERP systems, APIs).

  • Experience testing ERP, CRM, analytics, and form-based applications.

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Self-starter with minimal supervision required.

  • High attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.




Education & Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field-or equivalent work experience.

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant QA or systems experience.
