Description
We are looking for a Configuration Analyst I to join our team in West Chester, Ohio. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone who enjoys ensuring product design changes are accurately documented and compliant with established procedures. The role requires a strong focus on collaboration, attention to detail, and the ability to support configuration management activities effectively.
Responsibilities:
Analyze product design changes to evaluate the impact on overall functionality and performance.
Prepare and maintain detailed documentation to support product design modifications.
Collaborate with customers and manufacturers to establish clear processes for reporting configuration changes.
Review and validate engineering change data to ensure accuracy and compliance with established policies.
Monitor and document activities related to configuration management, ensuring adherence to procedures and standards.
Support the development and implementation of configuration management practices to streamline operations.
Assist in the supervision of documentation processes to maintain consistency and quality.
Provide customer service support by addressing inquiries related to configuration changes and processes.
Ensure all reporting and documentation align with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or area of specialty.
0-3 years of experience in configuration management or a related area.
Familiarity with configuration management procedures, policies, and best practices.
Strong skills in documentation, reporting, and ensuring adherence to established guidelines.
Ability to collaborate effectively with customers, team members, and manufacturers.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic knowledge of engineering change processes and related documentation.
Proficient in customer service and communication, with a focus on problem-solving.
