Our utilities client is looking for an IT Project Manager to join their team.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Pay Rate: $65.00 - $70.00/hr on W2

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.

W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state/locality.


Responsibilities of the IT Project Manager:
  • Oversee the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of the client's NA's NSight Wind Migration project
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets in alignment with organizational goals and client requirements
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams
  • Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and proactively address challenges to keep projects on track
  • Communicate project status, updates, and issues to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Oversee the release planning process
  • Ensure adherence to best practices and methodologies throughout the project lifecycle
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business needs and translate them into project requirements as needed
  • Manage and resolve conflicts within the project team and with external stakeholders
  • Ensure alignment of project goals, adherence to governance standards, and successful integration with other ongoing digital initiatives
Requirements of the IT Project Manager:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in project management
  • Proficient in project management software such as Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong knowledge of [relevant software or tools, e.g., CRM systems, ERP software]
  • Must have a PMP certification (or equivalent)
