Summary:
Responsible for the delivery of Information Technology training and development programs to all levels of end-users. Works collaboratively with Instructional Designers to provide specific training on computer software/basic hardware applications across the organization in classrooms, small group, and one-on-one settings. Prior healthcare/clinical experience and/or previous experience with Epic software/workflows is preferred.
This position works onsite at UNC Health - Appalachian in Boone, NC.
Responsibilities:
1. Conducts training/instruction of computer applications, methods, and processes. Serves in a liaison capacity with the user community on problem solving and improvement to new and existing operational systems.
2. Assists with analysis, testing, and selection of courseware design software and training techniques to be used. Contributes to the development of departmental standards, process implementation, and compliance.
3. Delivers all IT training programs and materials to a wide range of customers throughout the organization. Ensures training dependencies and processes across departments are understood by application owner.
4. Documents and maintains existing coursework and documents procedures for newly upgraded and / implemented systems based on user needs and training program requirements to achieve high quality service.
5. Provides onsite support.

Education Requirements:
Associate's degree in Adult Education, Business Administration, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent combination of education, training and experience).
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
No licensure or certification required.
Professional Experience Requirements:
If an Associate's degree: Two (2) years of experience in the use of or presentation of training courses for the particular software packages or programming languages.
If a High School diploma or GED: Four (4) years of experience in the use of or presentation of training courses for the particular software packages or programming languages.
Extensive experience using Windows and Microsoft 365.
