job summary:

Required Qualifications



Possession of a bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, business or public administration, or a related field and four years of technical or professional experience that includes computer systems analysis/business process analysis; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. A master's degree in computer science may be substituted for one year of the required experience.



The selected consultant must successfully complete a criminal background check including fingerprints prior to start date.



Preferred Qualifications:




  • Knowledge of project management methodology (i.e. Agile, Waterfall)



At a minimum, the Consultant(s) shall perform the following tasks:




  • Coordinate and directs team(s), resources, and manages information technological projects.


  • Plans, organizes, and oversees the work of teams(s) engaged in the study, design, implementation and maintenance of information systems.


  • Coordinate implementation of changes recommended by project teams and the development of training plans, support structures, and processes for system(s) implementation.


  • Manage contractors and vendors.


  • Initiate reviews, surveys, or studies of business processes and procedures.


  • Analyze integrated networked systems concepts in a multi-platform environment.


  • Analyze cost statistics and prepares economic comparisons of alternatives.


  • Organize and prepare technical documentation.


  • Design procedures and schedules for supplementary recommendations and coordinates implementation.


  • Prepares, maintains, and presents project status and budget reports to appropriate steering and management over-sight committees.


  • Coordinate with functional lead to develop departmental communication management plan.


  • Communicate, plan, and implement sucessful change management practices to project stakeholders.


  • Manage stakeholder value delivery through predefined success criteria, acceptance testing, and defect resolution.


  • Analyze project, program, or portfolio level risks and coordinates with project team to mitigate potential impacts.


  • Performs related work as required
