Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced ERP Business Conversion Lead Payroll (PR) to oversee and manage data conversion activities for a Workday (OneERP) implementation focused on Payroll. This position is critical to the success of a larger financial systems transformation initiative and will involve leading payroll-related data migration from multiple legacy ERP platforms into Workday.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end Payroll data conversion strategy and execution during the Workday implementation.
  • Direct the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of payroll data from multiple ERP systems to Workday.
  • Manage the conversion of key payroll components including earnings codes, deduction codes, payroll register data, and related payroll configuration and transaction records.
  • Ensure high-quality, accurate, and complete data conversion through validation, reconciliation, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Collaborate closely with internal payroll, IT, and finance teams, as well as external implementation partners.
  • Support historical payroll data loading into Workday Prismand assist in developing payroll analytics and dashboards using Looker, Power BI, and other visualization tools.

Qualifications:

  • Strong experience leading payroll data conversion for ERP systems, preferably with Workday.
  • Deep knowledge of payroll processes, data structures, and compliance requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with tools for reporting and analytics such as Workday Prism, Looker, and Power BI.
  • Skilled in data transformation, mapping, cleansing, and reconciliation activities.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and project leadership abilities.
  • Preferred: Experience with legacy systems such as Lawson Cloud v11.

Nice to Have: Experience working with large datasets and platforms like Google BigQuery.
