Job Details
Title: Motion Graphic Production Artist
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Pay Range: $35 - $40 per hour
Join MindSource as we seek a talented individual to contribute to our client's large consumer brand projects. We are looking for a hands-on professional with expertise in Adobe After Effects and Photoshop. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the interactive space and its production requirements. You must be detail-oriented, comfortable working with multiple servers, organized, undaunted by tight deadlines, and possess a keen eye for image quality.
This is a 6-month hybrid contract position with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Motion Graphic Production Leads, Interactive Developers, and Design, Video, and Software teams to meet the client's quality standards for video and animation deliverables.
- Engage in production and post-production of animations using both internal proprietary processes and industry-standard methods and tools.
- Develop production solutions through testing and research.
- Review final deliverables with an exacting eye.
- Track and check-in visual assets using a version control system.
- Ensure project deadlines are met with accurate file handoffs for localization.
- Support training of newer team members.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Adobe After Effects.
- Experience in After Effects compositing and animation; scripting and expressions are a plus.
- Expertise in Photoshop, including smart objects, resolution, and file export options.
- Knowledge of Illustrator for vector-based animations.
- Solid standards-based HTML, CSS, and general web publishing knowledge.
- Understanding or experience with Maya to After Effects workflow is a plus.
- Good understanding of basic 3D principles and pipeline.
- Experience in batch production, Adobe, Javascript, and Mac-based scripting is a plus.
- Experience with render farm setup and usage is also a plus.
- Highly detail-oriented, with a drive for perfection down to the last pixel.

- Able to adhere to a consistent graphic production and check-in process, while also identifying opportunities for improvement.
