Sr. SAP Ariba Technical Product Owner who can serve as a handson technical SME, product strategist, and integration lead within a multiyear ProcuretoPay (PTP) transformation. This is not a developer role, but a deeply technical and functional position focused on Ariba configuration, integrations, data flows, and platform governance.
The resource must be strong enough technically to challenge and guide the SI partner, ensure bestpractice design, and support a sustainable longterm Ariba landscape.
7+ years SAP Ariba experience
3+ full lifecycle Ariba implementations (lead, senior, or PO capacity)
Prior Product Owner or Solution Owner role (SaaS preferred)
Strong experience connecting Ariba to ECC or S/4HANA
Technical Expertise
Deep configuration skills across many Ariba modules
Strong BTP Integration Suite (CPI) experience
Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) expertise
Ability to develop/oversee integrations using OData, REST/SOAP, IDocs
Solid grasp of ECC/S/4 integration points (MM, FI, AP)
Strong technical documentation skills
Functional Knowledge
Full S2P/P2P process expertise
Understanding of bestpractice Ariba design principles
Workflow, approval rules, Guided Buying, catalogs, supplier management
Soft Skills
Strong communicator and stakeholder partner
Ability to push back on SI partner and represent EDF s best interests
Strategic thinker with longterm platform mindset
Collaborative with offshore/nearshore teams
Problem solver able to troubleshoot complex issues
