Job Title: BPM Activiti / Camunda Consultant

Location: Remote
Experience: 10+ Years

Job Summary

We are seeking a senior BPM Consultant with strong hands-on experience in Activiti and Camunda BPM to design, develop, and implement scalable business process solutions on cloud platforms. The consultant will translate business requirements into robust BPMN 2.0 based workflows, integrate with enterprise systems, and ensure high-quality, high-performance BPM implementations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and design end-to-end workflows using BPMN 2.0.

  • Design, develop, and configure Activiti and Camunda BPM processes and services.

  • Implement BPM best practices for process modeling, versioning, security, and performance.

  • Integrate BPM engines with external systems using REST APIs, microservices, and messaging.

  • Support cloud-based deployments and ensure scalability and reliability.

  • Perform unit, integration, and UAT testing for BPM solutions.

  • Support deployment, monitoring, and production troubleshooting.

  • Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, and business stakeholders across the SDLC.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of overall IT experience with deep focus on BPM / workflow solutions.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Activiti and Camunda BPM.

  • Expertise in BPMN 2.0, workflow orchestration, and process optimization.

  • Experience with Java, Spring/Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.

  • Experience integrating BPM platforms with enterprise applications and cloud services.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and deployment automation.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Camunda Cloud / Zeebe.

  • Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

  • Microservices and containerization experience (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Knowledge of DMN and decision modeling.
