Position Overview

We're hiring a professional and experienced IT Support Specialist to provide frontline technical assistance in a fast-paced financial environment. This role is ideal for candidates with a background in banking or investment support who can deliver high-touch service to users-including executives-while maintaining technical precision and discretion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals, ensuring minimal downtime (30%)
  • Troubleshoot issues related to Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Bloomberg terminals, and other financial platforms (25%)
  • Assist with infrastructure upgrades, patching, and deployments in coordination with cybersecurity and compliance teams (20%)
  • Maintain and monitor IT asset inventory, ensuring alignment with security and audit protocols (15%)
  • Document support activities and resolutions to improve service delivery (10%)

Ideal Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field-or equivalent experience/certifications (CompTIA, ITIL, Microsoft)
  • 3-5 years of IT support experience, preferably in financial services or investment management
  • Strong knowledge of Windows environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripting
  • Familiarity with financial applications such as Bloomberg or FactSet
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
