Pay Range: $50 - $55/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all IT business consulting activities focused on the AVEVA OSIsoft PI Portfolio across all business groups and functions across the client's enterprise, serving as the primary interface between business groups and IT.
  • Incumbent responsible for understanding the work processes of the assigned business groups and evaluating and integrating IT products and services into the business functional areas to meet business needs or business process improvements.
  • Provides technical knowledge to ensure efficient design, development, implementation, and support of systems and interfaces with programmers to explain solutions.
  • Responsible for overall customer satisfaction, customer communications, problem resolution consultation or oversight, and development and adherence to service level agreements.
  • Responsible for IT representation on assigned business areas steering teams, quality improvement teams, and continuous improvement teams, project implementation teams and working groups.
  • May also participate in the testing and evaluation of new IT solutions.
  • Employees at this level participate in project implementations to understand impacts to their assigned business groups.
  • Responsible for working with assigned business areas to do annual and long-range IT investment planning.
  • Coordinates the Application Portfolio Management (APM) Process for the assigned business department to systematically review the functional and technical health of all business applications on an annual basis (entire portfolio is assessed over a 3 to 5 year rolling cycle). Outputs of the APM Process are feeders to the short- and long-term planning process.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in participating in delivering IT projects.
  • Consult with assigned business groups on IT needs, directions, and solutions providing hardware, software & infrastructure planning, consultation, technical advice, functional advice, and direction in support of assigned business group strategies.
  • Develop consistent communications for assigned business groups regarding IT products, solutions, and schedules and develop proper communication methods for planned or emergent IT work.
  • Provide project management support for customer IT projects or participates in IT-related projects for the business group.
  • Serve as a customer advocate, representing the needs and directions of the business unit to IT organization.
  • Promote IT education within assigned business groups.
  • Participates in the evaluation of new applications and the identification of system requirements for planning purposes.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with customers, IT management and teammates.
  • Have knowledge of and be able to resolve complex technical and functional problems with a variety of unique business products and applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather requirements and develop business cases.
