We are looking for Senior Azure Red Hat OpenShift Developer for our client in Chicago, IL / Dallas, TX
Job Title: Senior Azure Red Hat OpenShift Developer
Job Type: Contract
Job Description:
Pay Range: $40hr - $45hr
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop microservices-based applications using OpenShift on Azure.
- Lead the implementation of CI/CD pipelines using Tekton, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate legacy systems with cloud-native solutions.
- Optimize application performance and resource utilization in OpenShift clusters.
- Implement security best practices including RBAC, secrets management, and image scanning.
- Monitor and troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues using Prometheus, Grafana, and EFK stack.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Document technical solutions and provide knowledge transfer to operations teams.
- 6+ years of experience in software development in OpenShift and Azure.
- Strong proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
- Hands-on experience with Azure services (AKS, ACR, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Familiarity with GitOps and DevSecOps practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Development.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate.
- Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
