Raytheon is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Process Engineering Manager who will be the leader responsible for process engineering at the Raytheon Vision Systems Lompoc facility. Specifically, this candidate will be responsible for managing SiPIN and 3DHI processes at our Lompoc facility on 200mm Silicon wafers. Position requires direct supervision of approximately 25 engineers across multiple disciplines. Candidate must be able to lead, coach, engage and empower employees to deliver on process development goals and program commitments.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. What You Will Do
- Oversee development, characterization and transfer of new wafer processing technologies into manufacturing.
- Drive optimization of various processes to improve yield, throughput, cycle time and equipment efficiency.
- Collaborate with equipment engineering, operations and product engineering to meet factory and program goals.
- Work with leadership to define new capital requirements and needs for the Lompoc facility.
- Clearly articulate project and/or program status as well as any risks or issues associated with these efforts
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a STEM degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience in Engineering, Manufacturing or Operations.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Prior Management experience with a record of delivering on projects both individually and as a leader.
- Knowledge of MEMS fabrication and processing techniques
- Performance metrics specifications (Analysis, Flowdown, Writing)
- Knowledge of SiPIN detector fabrication and operation
- Knowledge of Design Verification, and Design of Experiments and Semiconductor fabrication techniques
- Knowledge of Manufacturing Planning and Non-conforming Material Control
- Understanding of Yield Issues
- Understanding of Bids and Proposals
- Experience with Semiconductor wafer processing in a cleanroom environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills with technical writing ability
- Ability to work cross functionally
