Position Overview

QA Automation Lead

Requirements:

  • Lead the QA automation team in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using Cucumber, Selenium, Katlon, and Python.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, to understand requirements and define test strategies.
  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks to support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Identify, document, and track defects, and work closely with the development team to resolve issues.
  • Mentor and guide junior QA automation engineers, providing technical expertise and support.
  • Continuously improve the automation processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure that all automated tests are integrated into the build and release process.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in QA automation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a QA Automation Lead or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Cucumber, Selenium, Katlon, and Python.
  • Experience with automation frameworks and tools.
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or similar.
  • Knowledge of other programming languages and testing tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
