IT Project Manager with a strong background in Front-End Web Development

  • Experience: 5 years+ of hands-on Front-End Web Development (Angular, Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS) and at least 3+ years managing IT projects.

JD:

Need an experienced IT Project Manager with a strong background in Front-End Web Development to oversee key client-facing technology initiatives, local to Connecticut.

This role blends technical insight with project leadership, ensuring delivery of high-quality, user-centric applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Plan, execute, and deliver multiple IT projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with client teams, gather requirements, and provide regular progress updates.
  • Technical Oversight: Guide and review front-end development efforts (Angular, Java-based web technologies), ensuring adherence to best practices and performance standards.
  • Agile Delivery: Lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies proactively.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5 years+ of hands-on Front-End Web Development (Angular, Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS) and at least 3+ years managing IT projects.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of front-end frameworks, web architecture, and integration with backend services.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and distributed teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Hybrid Onsite Presence: 3 4 days a week at the client office to facilitate collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
