We are seeking a skilled Information Security Operations Specialist to support day-to-day data security operations in a fully remote capacity. This short-term contract role is ideal for a security professional with hands-on experience in infrastructure security, compliance monitoring, and incident response. About the Role

You'll play a key role in maintaining the integrity and availability of our security and networking infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning, design, installation, and maintenance of security systems aligned with organizational policies.
- Manage and monitor security infrastructure including firewalls, proxies, logging systems, and other security tools.
- Analyze and report on security event anomalies and trends.
- Develop, implement, and maintain security policies and procedures.
- Promote security awareness and ensure adherence to security protocols.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents and violations.
- Define security requirements and assess systems for compliance with standards.
- Research and recommend security solutions based on business needs.
- Proven experience in information security infrastructure support and operations.
- Strong understanding of computer security, risk analysis, audit, and compliance.
- Hands-on experience with security practices, network protocols, software, and hardware.
- Familiarity with web vulnerability assessment tools and techniques.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field-or equivalent work experience.
- CISSP certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Experience working in fast-paced, contract-based environments.
