DatamanUSA has an exciting opportunity for an Oracle System/Performance Tuning DBA to work with one of our direct clients in Los Angeles, CA.
Job Title: Oracle Performance Tuning DBA/Oracle System Database Administrator
Duration: 06 months (with possible of extension)
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Minimum Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator with demonstrated expertise in Oracle 19c in a multitenant architecture (CDB/PDB).
- Proven experience performing hardware refreshes, including database migration and reconfiguration across environments.
- Implement Oracle Data Guard configuration using Active Data Guard and Physical Standby.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), including upgrade and configuration-must have completed or supported upgrade to OEM 24AI or similar recent version.
- Experience configuring Active Directory (AD) Authentication for Oracle databases using tools like Oracle Directory Services or Kerberos.
- Strong skills in performance monitoring and troubleshooting, including use of AWR/ASH reports, SQL tuning, and diagnostics tools.
- Solid understanding of Oracle backup and recovery (RMAN/Data Pump), patching, and high availability configurations (e.g., Data Guard, RAC is a plus).
- Proficient in Linux/Unix environments, including shell scripting and automation tools.
