RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Lead React/.Net Core Developer in Chicago, IL.

Summary:
As a Lead React/.Net Core Developer, you will be responsible for the development of mission critical applications, while working with a team of developers. You will design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing applications. Additionally, as a Lead Developer, you will build these applications with a focus on delivering cloud-based solutions. The individual will use leading edge technologies and enterprise grade integration software daily. In this role, you will be relied upon to help take this team to the next level from a technological standpoint.

Duties:
* Participate in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design
* Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements
* Develop and contribute to airline domain subject matter expertise; Become an expert regarding our applications
* Support, maintain, and document software functionality
* Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements
* Consult with end user to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs
* Works without supervision with complete latitude for independent judgment
* Mentor less experienced peers and display leadership as needed

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems and/or equivalent work experience
* 10+ years of experience in design, development, documenting, testing, and debugging of new and existing software systems and/or applications for market sale or large-scale proprietary software for internal use
* 7+ years of experience with Agile Software Development Methodology
* 5+ years of experience with React, Redux, Sagas, and Jest
* 5+ years of experience with Software Development Languages & Tools, Dotnet Core, C#, ASP.NET/MVC, Web API, WCF, MS Visual Studio, MS TFS, GitHub, Jira, Azure DevOps
* 3+ years of experience with the Cloud Computing - AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, NET Core 6.x
* Proficiency in Software Development best practices such as - Continuous Integration, Unit / Integration testing, Code reviews
* Thorough knowledge and experience with Microsoft Dotnet Core Technology Stack

Preferred:
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems
* 2+ years of experience with NoSQL Database such as Redis, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, and distributed queues such as Apache Kafka, Azure Service Bus, or MQTT
* Airlines industry experience

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
