About the Role:
We are looking for a hands-on Senior Data Scientist to join our Insurance Analytics & AI Vertical. This mid-senior role blends insurance domain expertise (P&C), strong data science skills, and a consulting mindset. You will work directly with clients, translating business needs into actionable analytical solutions and driving measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Client and client stakeholders to design and deliver analytics, reporting, and transformation solutions.
- Apply machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and statistical techniques to solve business problems.
- Support insurance-focused analytics use cases, preferably in P&C lines of business.
- Conduct requirement gathering, structure problem statements, and present insights to senior stakeholders.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with privacy guidelines.
- Independently research, analyze, and present client-ready deliverables.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support business development activities.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 7 12 years in analytics, reporting, ETL, Python/R, BI tools (Tableau, Power BI), SQL, Hadoop/Spark, ETL tools.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning, deep learning (neural networks), and NLP (NLTK, Gensim, LDA, Word2Vec, FastText, GloVe).
- Strong consulting experience with problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Bachelor's/Master's in Economics, Math, CS/Engineering, OR, or related fields.
- Prior insurance (P&C) experience.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
