Job Details

Summary

  • We are seeking a Research Engineer for our team that researches new wearable AI devices and interaction models. This role combines development of interactive AI experiences and research of human behavior.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement user interfaces for internal demos and formal user studies.
  • Work with prototype hardware and constellations of computing devices.
  • Collaborate with researchers to build data processing pipelines.

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • 1+ years experience developing user interfaces / interactive experiences.
  • 2+ years experience developing with C++/C# in a game engine (Unity, Unreal).
  • 2-3+ years in Python for data analysis (NumPy, SciPy).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Top 3 Must-Have Skills

  • 1+ years experience developing user interfaces / interactive experiences
  • 2+ years experience developing with C++/C# in a game engine (Unity, Unreal), Unity is preferred.
  • 2-3+ years in Python for data analysis (NumPy, SciPy).

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Familiarity with user research, behavioral experiments.
  • Familiarity with sensing technologies (IMU, EMG, cameras, microphones).
  • Advanced degree (MS, PhD) in a related field.
  • Experience developing for AR/VR/wearables.
  • Experience using ML libraries and/or LLMs.
  • Experience w/ C++.

Interview Process: 03 Rounds - Screening - Coding - Behavioral.
