Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

Experience: 12+ years

Key Skills

  • Knowledge of PDLC and SDLC and the difference between the two
  • Understanding of Policies/Governance/controls
  • Experience in working with cross functional initiatives and enterprise priorities
  • Good enterprise problem solver and effective solutions
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders who will have inputs into PDLC development
  • Ability to articulate to senior stakeholders on the processes and SOPs
  • Experience in working with
  • Confluence and establishing PDLC page
  • Extensive working knowledge of Excel
  • Share point/MS forms etc

Key Responsibilities:

PDLC Process Ownership and Methodology Development-

  • Develop, refine, and standardize PDLC methodologies across all solution delivery initiatives and development projects.
  • Serve as the primary owner and custodian of the organization's PDLC processes (process definitions, policies, standards, procedures, templates, tools, etc.)
  • Champion the adoption of best practices in software development processes, including Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps methodologies.
  • Lead the integration of SDLC processes with other business processes, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy.

Collaboration with Policy groups-

  • Understand the current control environment and collaborate with the relevant policy groups
  • Map the existing controls from the policy groups to PDLC check points
  • Keep the PDLC requirements current and relevant and in line with organizational standards

PDLC Policy stand up-

  • Create an Umbrella PDLC policy and associated standards/controls
  • Shepard the review process with key senior leadership teams

Training and Knowledge Dissemination-

  • Develop and conduct training programs for PDLC processes and methodologies.
  • Establish Communities of Practice - Ensure that all development teams are proficient in the chosen methodologies and compliant with the processes.
  • Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the organization.
  • Establish PDLC Confluence with all the latest documentation/Standards/Policies

Stakeholder Engagement and Management-

  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback and incorporate it into PDLC process improvements.
  • Manage expectations and communicate the benefits and changes in PDLC processes to stakeholders.
  • Align PDLC strategies with organizational objectives and collaborate with other departments for cohesive business operations.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within and across teams
