Reporting to the Manager of TOC Engineering, the individual in this role will play a pivotal role in the maintenance and enhancement of support for our Enterprise Data and Technology Platform . Engineer will collaborate with the DevOps and Cloud Software Platform team to ensure the seamless transition of services to the TOC Engineering team. Furthermore, the engineer will work closely with the Major Incident Management team to address and resolve issues within the production environment

- Provide expert-level support for CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS Code Pipeline
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for enterprise data and technology platforms.
- Monitor and maintain system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Provide containerization solutions
- Work with stakeholders to resolve technical issues and improve system performance.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to AWS infrastructure and services, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption
- Collaborate with the Major Incident Management team to address and resolve critical issues in the production environment
- Participate in incident response activities, including root cause analysis and post-incident reviews
- Work closely with the DevOps and Cloud Software Platform team to ensure the successful transition of services to TOC Engineering
- Stay updated on the latest AWS DevOps services, features, and best practices.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve support processes and cloud infrastructure
What y o u bring
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional Certification
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or Cloud Software Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services and cloud infrastructure.
- Proficiency in using DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Chef, Artifactory, and Jira.
- Proficiency in using popular API Gateway solutions.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or other relevant certifications.
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools.
- Understanding of Data Integration Tools like Mulesoft and TIBCO
- Knowledge of Real-Time Data Processing and automation tools like Apache Kafka and NiFi
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of networking and security principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
