Job Description

The Health Connector is looking for senior EDI specialist with at least five years of experience to support the implementation of technology initiatives. The position requires the ability to coordinate and facilitate integration discussions with third parties, develop and maintain documentation, coordinate extensive testing with multiple parties and perform impact assessments. Experience with software development lifecycles, implementations, integrations, along with strong project and task management are essential.

Responsibilities:

  1. Document and maintain integration documentation and process flows, where applicable, that can be used for implementation.
  2. Liaise with third party vendors and agency cross functional SME's to support implementation, testing, triage and issue resolution.
  3. Serve as an EDI implementation SME and flag any risks and remediation steps to the project management team
  4. Facilitate and perform integration testing with multiple upstream and downstream parties, including planning, environment management, issue tracking and resolution.
  5. Work with the cross functional project leads to address project issues and mitigate risk.
  6. Plan and schedule project deliverables, goals, milestones.
  7. Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering, Technology or related field.
  2. Minimum 5 years of integration implementation experience including EDI
  3. Former local, state, federal government experience preferred
  4. Experience with State Based Marketplaces and Health Insurance Carriers preferred
  5. Proficiency in the following MS Project, MS Office 365, Excel and Visio
