Job Description:
- The Oracle Cloud Financial Applications Specialist will manage and govern enterprise financial data, configure reconciliation and tax reporting processes, and ensure compliance across business units.
- The role includes working with Oracle EDMCS, ARCS, and TRCS applications to streamline data governance, reconciliation, and tax reporting workflows.
- The specialist will integrate applications with ERP systems, automate processes, and support auditability and compliance.
Oracle EDMCS (Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service):
- Manage and govern changes to master, reference, and metadata across the enterprise.
- Design and maintain viewpoints, hierarchies, and data mappings.
- Implement subscriptions to synchronize alternate business perspectives.
- Support data governance, compliance, and auditability across business units.
- Integrate EDMCS with Oracle and non-Oracle applications using adapters and APIs.
- Enable change visualization, versioning, and workflow approvals.
- Configure and manage reconciliation compliance for balance sheet and consolidation reconciliations.
- Implement transaction matching for high-volume reconciliations.
- Automate reconciliation workflows, approvals, and exception handling.
- Define mapping rules, reconciliation formats, and risk-based prioritization.
- Provide real-time visibility into reconciliation status and compliance metrics.
- Integrate ARCS with ERP systems for seamless data flow and validation.
- Design and manage tax provisioning, reporting, and compliance workflows.
- Configure Supplemental Data Manager, Task Manager, and Smart View reports.
- Automate tax calculations, journal entries, and data consolidations.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and local tax regulations.
- Collaborate with finance and tax teams to streamline reporting cycles.
- Manage user roles, data access, and audit trails for tax-related activities.
- Proven experience with Oracle Cloud Financial applications (EDMCS, ARCS, TRCS).
- Experience integrating Oracle Cloud applications with ERP systems.
- Knowledge of financial reconciliation, tax reporting, and compliance processes.
- Govern enterprise financial data and metadata changes.
- Configure and maintain reconciliation and tax reporting processes.
- Automate workflows and approvals for efficiency and compliance.
- Support integration with ERP and other business applications.
- Provide reporting, auditability, and real-time visibility to stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Expertise in Oracle EDMCS, ARCS, and TRCS.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and local tax regulations.
- Experience with workflow automation, data governance, and integration tools.
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in Oracle Cloud Financial Applications preferred.
