Job Title: Oracle Fusion Procurement & SCM Technical Consultant (Integrations & Reports)

Location: Duluth, GA or Dallas, TX
Work Model: Hybrid or Remote 

 

Position Summary

The Oracle Fusion Procurement & SCM Technical Consultant is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering technical solutions that support Procurement and Supply Chain Management (SCM) business processes within Oracle Fusion Cloud.

This role focuses heavily on integrations, extensions, reporting, and data pipelines, leveraging tools such as Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), BI Publisher (BIP), OTBI, BICC, SQL/PL-SQL, and REST/SOAP APIs.

The consultant will work closely with functional teams, architects, and business stakeholders to implement scalable, high-performing technical solutions that enable automation, reporting, and seamless integration between Oracle Fusion and external systems.

 

Key Responsibilities

Technical Development (Integrations, Reports & Extensions)

  • Design, develop, and support Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) integrations for Procurement and SCM modules.
  • Build and maintain BI Publisher reports, OTBI dashboards, and data models for operational and analytical reporting.
  • Develop FBDI and ADFdi templates, custom extracts, and scheduled jobs.
  • Create and support REST/SOAP web services and APIs for inbound and outbound integrations.
  • Implement technical solutions across Oracle Fusion modules including:
    • Procurement: PO, SSP, Sourcing, Supplier Portal, SQM
    • SCM: Inventory, Receiving, Cost Management
    • Order Management, Shipments, Item Master
  • Translate business requirements into technical design specifications.
  • Participate in solution design workshops with architects and client stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams on testing, cutover, and migration activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve end-to-end technical issues across Procurement and SCM processes.
  • Monitor integration runs, error queues, and partner interfaces.
  • Support master data loads including Items, Suppliers, Catalogs, UOMs, and Negotiations.

 

Reporting & Analytics

  • Create operational reports for:
    • Purchase Orders
    • Requisitions
    • Receipts
    • Supplier performance
    • Inventory availability and visibility
  • Build dashboards using OTBI subject areas (Procurement, Inventory, Costing).
  • Develop BI Publisher data models, burst reports, scheduled reports, and email delivery.
  • Assess quarterly Oracle Cloud updates for technical impact and remediation.
  • Document technical designs, integrations, and support procedures.
  • Provide post–go-live hypercare and transition solutions to support teams.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of Oracle ERP technical experience.
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement & SCM.
  • Strong experience with:
    • Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
    • BI Publisher (BIP)
    • OTBI
    • SQL / PL-SQL
    • FBDI / ADFdi
    • REST & SOAP APIs
  • Experience integrating Oracle Fusion with:
    • Supplier systems
    • Logistics platforms (3PL/WMS)
    • Finance/AP systems
    • Manufacturing and Inventory systems

 

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Oracle Visual Builder (VBCS).
  • Exposure to Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI).
  • Experience with OIC B2B adapters.
  • KPI dashboards and data pipeline development.
  • Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Source-to-Pay (S2P), Inventory, and Costing processes.
  • Experience working in Agile environments (JIRA, Azure DevOps).
  • Oracle Cloud certifications in OIC, Procurement, or SCM technical areas.
