Summary:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. - Remote

Designs and develops cutting edge, robust and enterprise level web applications, web services, forms, etc. on a variety of platforms and mobile devices. Performs coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the application development process. Collaborates with healthcare professionals and other IS team members to analyze business situations, determine the technologies needed and produce working solutions. Strong ability to apply skills to problems and teach to other staff.

Additional Information:

We are looking for a skilled developer with the following expertise:

Expert in C# - Strong proficiency in C# development, including best practices and modern language features.

ORM Experience (Entity Framework Preferred) - Hands-on experience with Object-Relational Mappers, ideally Entity Framework, for efficient database interactions.

Advanced SQL Knowledge - Deep understanding of database performance, including indexing, query optimization, and troubleshooting slow queries.

Intermediate Git Skills - Comfortable with branching strategies, pull requests, and participating in code reviews.

Azure DevOps (YAML Pipelines Preferred) - Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure, ideally using YAML.

Familiarity with Web UI Frameworks - Knowledge of front-end frameworks like Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, or similar.

Team Player & Strong Communicator - Ability to collaborate effectively, communicate with stakeholders, and translate vague requirements into clear, actionable tasks.

Continuous Learner - Passion for exploring new technologies and evaluating how they can solve emerging challenges.

Description

1. Develops software applications to meet the needs of the hospital.

2. Works with users, supervisors, and other stakeholders to determine a project specification, system design and architecture.

3. Provides on-going support for applications, including assessment of issues, documentation of resolution on support tickets, and completion of tickets with designated priority time frames. Helps maintain back-office applications and processes.

4. Follows programming guidelines, standards and department processes for system deployment, testing and revisions.

5. Prepares prototypes and documentation to communicate ideas and vision to project team.

6. Reduces duplication in systems and reports through experience and exposure to business needs and system implementation.

7. Develops creative and innovative initiatives to improve the services offered by the department.

8. Provides professional, friendly, and supportive customer service to end users.

9. Identifies potential areas of improvement for existing projects and proposes and implements changes to improve those processes.

10. Actively participates in the development life cycle by anticipating problems and recommending alternative solutions.

11. Assists in evaluating and developing departmental training initiatives for application development.

12. Leads and completes projects in technologies and areas outside core competencies.

13. Performs other duties as assigned.
