Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Engineering Supervisor to lead the Software Management team within our End User Computing division. This role involves supervising a dynamic team of Technical Engineers and Infrastructure Analysts dedicated to the full software lifecycle, including:

Software troubleshooting and remediation

Addressing software vulnerabilities

Developing and managing patch and software dashboards

Ensuring governance of End User Computing patch compliance

Primary Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Management:
  • Assign workloads, set priorities, and track the team's objectives and deliverables.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and team discussions to support growth, address challenges, and foster collaboration.
  • Provide consistent feedback and guidance to team members, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Operational Oversight:
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to software management, patching, and compliance.
  • Ensure timely remediation of software vulnerabilities and seamless troubleshooting processes.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, departments, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance dashboard reporting, governance, and overall team efficiency.

Education and Experience Required:

A combined minimum of 7 years' higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 3 years' engineering and/or architecture experience and 2 years leadership experience

Proven experience in managing or supervising technical teams, preferably within IT or End User Computing domains.

Strong understanding of software lifecycle management and vulnerability remediation.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education and Experience Preferred:

Familiarity with software patching processes and dashboard/reporting tools.

Experience collaborating across diverse teams and stakeholder groups.
