Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain high availability (HA) Kubernetes architectures for containerized workloads.
  • Implement automated orchestration features including self-healing, auto-scaling, and rolling updates.
  • Ensure manual operation capabilities during control-plane outages to maintain uptime.
  • Reduce control-plane maintenance effort and mitigate risks associated with vendor-managed components.
  • Apply deep knowledge of namespaces, TCP/IP stack, and networking concepts for seamless integration.
  • Integrate centralized observability and management interfaces for platform-wide visibility and control.
  • Leverage existing EMES ESXi infrastructure to optimize cost and improve resiliency.
  • Enable template-driven deployments to accelerate and standardize application rollout.
  • Ensure compliance with endpoint security, monitoring, backup recovery, and downtime management standards.
  • Support mixed-mode clusters running Windows components and Linux microservices.
  • Provide intuitive tools and interfaces to simplify maintenance, adoption, and management.
  • Collaborate with vendors and consultants to ensure support, training, certifications, and documentation.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts effectively across diverse teams.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Engage in constructive design discussions with technical rigor.
Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience designing and operating Kubernetes platforms in mission-critical environments.
  • Strong understanding of container orchestration, HA architecture, and infrastructure automation.
  • Solid grasp of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, service mesh).
  • Familiarity with VMware ESXi, hybrid cloud environments, and storage provisioning.
  • Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) and centralized management platforms.
  • Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks, preferably in pharmaceutical or healthcare industries.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in computerized manufacturing environments.
  • Certifications in Kubernetes (RHCA, CKA, CKAD) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Experience with Red Hat OpenShift.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
