Mainframe Application Developer/ Mainframe Programmer
Location: Remote
We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Application Developer with strong expertise in COBOL, ADABAS, Natural, and CICS to support and enhance enterprise-level mainframe applications. This role requires onsite presence in Coatesville, PA and hands-on experience across the full application development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and support mainframe applications using COBOL, ADABAS, and Natural
- Work with ADASQL for database access and manipulation
- Develop and support CICS online transactions
- Perform batch processing using JCL
- Utilize TSO/ISPF for development, debugging, and system support
- Participate in system analysis, testing, implementation, and production support
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls and documentation standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience with COBOL (ADASQL)
- Hands-on expertise in ADABAS / Natural
- Report Mode
- Structure Mode
- Predict
- Experience with CICS, JCL, TSO/ISPF
- Solid understanding of the full application development lifecycle
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
- Knowledge of SOX compliance processes
