Google Cloud Professional

We are seeking a Certified Google Cloud Professional to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about cloud computing and looking to leverage Google Cloud technologies to build scalable and efficient solutions. The candidate can choose to work from our office in Schenectady, New York, or remotely across North America.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and manage robust, secure, scalable, highly available, and dynamic solutions on Google Cloud to meet the technology and business requirements.
• Work closely with IT teams and business departments to enhance the overall infrastructure using Google Cloud technologies.
• Ensure efficient configuration and utilization of cloud environments, optimizing them for performance and cost.
• Implement and support the migration of applications, data, and systems to Google Cloud environments.
• Maintain, monitor, and manage Google Cloud solutions and manage disaster recovery and data backup processes.
• Conduct system performance tests, troubleshoot issues, and oversee the security of the cloud infrastructure.
• Keep abreast of new Google Cloud features and technologies, ensuring that our solutions remain innovative and sustainable.

Qualifications:

• Certification in Google Cloud (Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect, Google Certified Professional Data Engineer, or equivalent).
• Proven experience in Google Cloud Platform services and technologies.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing technology and infrastructure as well as cloud deployment and management.
• Experience in automation and scripting using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively in a team and with clients.
