About the Role
Our client is seeking a Senior Robotics Analyst to lead the analysis, design, and documentation of business requirements for Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Robotic Desktop Automation (RDA) initiatives. This role ensures that automated solutions are aligned with business needs, meet defined specifications, and are thoroughly tested prior to deployment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and translate complex business processes into detailed RPA/RDA requirements and functional specifications.
  • Analyze current-state workflows to identify automation opportunities and assess feasibility, complexity, and potential ROI.
  • Develop clear process maps, user stories, and acceptance criteria to guide development teams.
  • Collaborate with RPA/RDA developers and solution architects to ensure system specifications accurately reflect business needs.
  • Oversee and participate in system, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to confirm automated solutions meet requirements before implementation.
  • Ensure proper governance, documentation, and compliance standards are followed throughout the automation lifecycle.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in automation best practices and process optimization.
  • Monitor post-implementation performance and work with development teams to troubleshoot and optimize automations as needed.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts and support ongoing automation roadmap planning.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4-7+ years of experience in business analysis, process engineering, or automation-focused roles.
  • Hands-on experience gathering business requirements and working on RPA/RDA initiatives (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, NICE, Pega, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of process mapping, workflow design, and business process re-engineering.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with technical teams to ensure system specifications match business needs.
  • Experience leading and executing system testing and UAT cycles.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications in RPA platforms (UiPath Business Analyst, Automation Anywhere A2019 Analyst, etc.).
  • Experience in agile or hybrid SDLC environments.
  • Knowledge of RPA governance frameworks and best practices.
  • Prior exposure to RDA tools or contact center automation environments.
