Expected salary range of $150,300 to $167,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Manager position reporting to the Digital Transformation Office function at Constellation. This role is responsible for identifying/researching emerging digital technology trends and creating collaboration opportunities with industry technology majors, national labs, universities, start-ups and government agencies. Additionally, this position will be responsible for maintaining a partnership governance practice which will include the management of multiple external strategic relationships and liaising with internal strategy groups in support of generating a unified opportunity view. This position will also be responsible for generating strategic co-development opportunities in partnership with various IT and operating company areas.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Manage strategic partnerships with key external technology and academic institutions, including industry leading tech companies, national labs, and universities. Leverage these collaborations to drive co-development opportunities, inform digital and AI trend awareness, and support Learning and Development within Constellation IT by aligning partnership insights with curriculum needs. Engage Constellation business units, broader IT, and corporate strategy teams to ensure partnership value realization.
  • Lead the execution of co-development and technology research initiatives by managing the full lifecycle of opportunities from origination and funding through execution, transition, value tracking, and knowledge sharing. Share strategic insights from these efforts across the Constellation ecosystem with a focus on future disruptive digital technologies.
  • Directly support the build and execution of digital investment and execution strategy with broader digital leadership team.
  • Support senior leadership discussions on digital technology strategy implications and progress on co-development opportunities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related technical field
  • 8-years of professional experience, including 5 years managing strategic partnership relationships focused on technology and/or business growth
  • Demonstrated ability to apply strategic, analytical, research and critical thinking to problem solving and project management to make decisions, solutions and communicate clearly
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with team members and business stakeholders
  • Communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with all levels of the company including Senior Management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Public Policy, Economics, or a related field
  • Demonstrated knowledge of energy industry
  • Demonstrated knowledge of research & development processes
  • Direct experience with artificial intelligence (AI)
