Your role in our mission
- Implement the project management framework and governance functions
- Oversees assigned Project Management personnel for their engagement. Assigns work and provides direction regarding timeliness and completion of project objectives.
- Develops and maintains project staffing models and proactively Identifies appropriate resources required. Works with leadership to staff their projects.
- Acts as the point of contact with client project management office.
- Provide a centralized management structure for all project management functions, including:
- Program Deliverables and Milestones - identify, track, and manage
- Project work plan - ensures it is developed, maintained and that the critical path is met.
- Engagement team's time tracking, work assignments, and status reporting
- Scope and Change Control management
- Gainwell contract requirements - manages requirement changes, traceability to deliverables, RAID items, test cases and defects.
- RAID/DAIR log management
- Stakeholder communications - managed to gain concurrence, approval, and consensus as needed for project management deliverables and artifacts.
- Mentor, coach and effectively transfer expertise to others
- Supports the Implementation Lead to track expenses to budget.
- Participates in proposal efforts to enhance opportunities for future business deals with client.
What we're looking for
- 10+ years of experience managing a PMO, preferably experienced in standing up a PMO
- 10+ years of experience managing large scale Information Technology projects
- PMP certification required
- Conveys an expert-level knowledge of project management and associated methodologies, techniques, processes, and approaches - exudes credibility as a subject matter expert
- Ability to build a strong network and relationships at executive levels with technology and solutions, customers, and vendor groups
