    The Staff Accountant I will play a key role in the accounting operations team, focusing on cash application, reconciliation, and financial accuracy. This position offers significant exposure to the broker-dealer industry, internal stakeholder collaboration, and opportunities for long-term career growth within the organization.
    • Apply and reconcile cash receipts, including unapplied or unidentified funds.
    • Maintain databases of clients, carriers, and accounts for efficient commission processing.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve reconciliation issues and ensure reporting accuracy.
    • Prepare posting reconciliations between bank receipts and cash postings.
    • Support audits (FINRA, SEC, D&T, AML, Internal) by providing required documentation.
    • Assist with onboarding new business acquisitions into company systems.

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    • Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred).
    • 1 2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (mandatory).
    • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Motivated and proactive attitude with strong organizational skills.
