Job Title: Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role involves comprehensive manual testing, including unit tests and test scripts, while also engaging in API testing and supporting multiple scrum teams. The successful candidate will work closely with our Accounting and development teams, ensuring high-quality front and backend testing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct manual testing, unit tests, and create test scripts.
  • Support up to five scrum teams, focusing on both front and backend testing.
  • Utilize AccelQ for low-code automation testing, requiring point-and-click skills rather than traditional coding.
  • Engage in API testing using tools like Postman.
  • Apply basic SQL knowledge to differentiate between update and select statements and work with tables.
  • Develop a tester mindset to anticipate potential issues and test accordingly.
  • Maintain effective communication and collaboration with team members, ensuring a positive cultural fit.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in manual testing and QA.
  • Proficiency in creating and executing test cases and unit tests.
  • Basic SQL commands and statement knowledge, including creating joins.
  • Ability to pull specific data using SQL in real-time scenarios.
  • Confidence and strong communication skills to facilitate seamless team integration.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to AccelQ for API test automation.
  • Experience in an Agile environment, supporting multiple scrum teams.

Work Environment

Experience a hybrid work model based in Charlotte, NC, initially requiring four days onsite for the first 3-6 months, transitioning to three days onsite per week. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
