Job Title: Business Analyst AML (Anti-Money Laundering)

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

Contract Length: 1 year

Start Date: ASAP

Compensation: $55.hour -$60/hour

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and clarify AML-related business requirements.


• Translate requirements into clear, structured BRD (Business Requirement Document) format for review and approval.


• Collaborate with the VP and project sponsors to ensure deliverables meet business needs and regulatory expectations.


• Manage multiple iterations of BRDs and update documentation based on feedback and evolving project requirements.


• Support testing and implementation efforts by clarifying requirements and assisting in UAT as needed.


• Maintain organized documentation and ensure traceability between business needs and technical outcomes.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within financial services (AML experience preferred).


• Strong experience creating and iterating BRDs, process flows, and documentation for sign-off.


• Highly adaptable and flexible, able to pivot quickly across projects and priorities.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate confidently with senior stakeholders.


• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, iterative environment with multiple projects on the go.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience within AML, compliance, or risk management teams.


• Understanding of AML processes, data flows, or regulatory requirements.


• Exposure to Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
