Job Title: Business Analyst AML (Anti-Money Laundering)
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Contract Length: 1 year
Start Date: ASAP
Compensation: $55.hour -$60/hour
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and clarify AML-related business requirements.
- Translate requirements into clear, structured BRD (Business Requirement Document) format for review and approval.
- Collaborate with the VP and project sponsors to ensure deliverables meet business needs and regulatory expectations.
- Manage multiple iterations of BRDs and update documentation based on feedback and evolving project requirements.
- Support testing and implementation efforts by clarifying requirements and assisting in UAT as needed.
- Maintain organized documentation and ensure traceability between business needs and technical outcomes.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within financial services (AML experience preferred).
- Strong experience creating and iterating BRDs, process flows, and documentation for sign-off.
- Highly adaptable and flexible, able to pivot quickly across projects and priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate confidently with senior stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, iterative environment with multiple projects on the go.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience within AML, compliance, or risk management teams.
- Understanding of AML processes, data flows, or regulatory requirements.
- Exposure to Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
