Sr. IAM Security Analyst (Remote)

We have an immediate need for a contract Sr. IAM Security Analyst to join our client, a national chain of convenience stores and gas stations. The Sr. IAM Security Analyst is responsible for incident management, service requests fulfillment, change management, onboarding and offboarding user accounts, troubleshooting and other administrative activities related to operations and projects.

Location: Tempe, Arizona (Remote)

This job expects to pay about $57 60 per hour plus benefits.

What You Will Do:


  • Under the direction of the Information Security IAM management and leadership you will maintain, evaluate, monitor, and strengthen the adoption of identity practices, standards, and controls
  • The Senior IAM Security Analyst will execute and maintain existing User Access Review (UAR) control processes, associated quality assurance and review processes, and identify continual operational enhancements
  • The Senior IAM Security Analyst will also operate at multiple levels within the organization participating in IAM projects/activities, risk assessments, IT general control (ITGC) SOX and other IAM actions
  • In addition, the Senior IAM Analyst will work with IT application and database owners, infrastructure, IAM engineering and business stakeholders, departments to identify and recommend solutions to Identity and Access Management related issues and provide expertise surrounding a broad range of IAM duties
  • Maintain detailed records of access permissions, changes, and access reviews
  • Partner with application owners and leaders to address business and technical issues involved in deploying, governing, and extending identity services

What Gets You The Job:


  • Associates Degree, Bachelors Degree, Certificates or equivalent experience.
  • 4-7 years of experience handling complex technical support issues in an enterprise environment
  • Experience identifying, evaluating, recommending, and implementing processes, procedures, and tools to enhance existing capabilities and ensure a cycle of continuous improvement
  • Understanding of IAM Governance, Administration and Identity lifecycle management
  • Advance understanding of networking systems, cyber security vulnerabilities, exploits and attacks.
  • General understanding of IT principles and governance frameworks such as ITIL and Agile foundation concept
  • Strong understanding of directory services (LDAP, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, AWS, Azure AD etc.)
  • Proficient in at least one scripting language (Python, PowerShell)
  • Experience with IAM tools (Okta, SecZetta, Oracle Identity Manager)
  • Experience with Application Programming Interfaces (API) and development platforms (Postman)
  • Experience with ServiceNow and incident management
