Job Description:
  • The IT Support Technician will provide on-site technical assistance to users, ensuring smooth functioning of hardware, software, and network systems.
  • This role includes managing IT assets, supporting AV setups, and delivering excellent customer service while collaborating with the IT team to resolve complex technical issues.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide on-site technical support to users for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
  • Manage IT asset inventory, including tracking, updating, and maintaining records.
  • Perform imaging and refreshing of computers and other devices to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues, including printer problems, software errors, and network connectivity issues.
  • Assist with setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio and video equipment such as projectors, microphones, and video conferencing systems.
  • Support live events by operating AV systems and resolving technical issues in real-time.
  • Collaborate with senior technicians and IT staff to resolve complex technical problems.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of support requests, resolutions, and equipment maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent industry experience; technical certifications or coursework in IT or AV technology is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow ticketing system.
  • Proven experience in providing IT support in an office environment.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic understanding of audio and video equipment functionality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • s with a technical background and at least one year of experience are encouraged to apply, provided they demonstrate a strong learning aptitude.
Preferred Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10 operating systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Familiarity with video conferencing platforms and standard office tools.
  • Basic networking and cabling knowledge.
  • Experience with cable patching and server racking.
  • Ability to participate in on-call schedules (after hours if required).
  • Experience with asset management software and IT service management tools.
  • Familiarity with life sciences, healthcare, or pharmaceutical environments.
