Job Overview
The Senior Analyst, Trust & Safety will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity of Client by preventing online and offline scams. The role involves identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities through product verification, transparency, and advertiser knowledge initiatives. Additionally, the Senior Analyst will work on enhancing the advertiser experience by resolving gaps in processes, products, infrastructure, and human reviews.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis & Insights:
    Perform complex data analyses and deliver actionable insights that guide decision-making processes. Enhance operational workflows through process improvements and identify automation opportunities to drive efficiency.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Sales, and Legal to deploy innovative processes and policies. Improve knowledge of adversarial advertisers and identify enforcement strategies.
  • Investigation & Enforcement:
    Work with abuse mitigation teams on investigations to catch fraudsters, enforce product policies, and increase friction on bad actors. Investigate trends and define enforcement strategies to address account-related abuse, questionable business practices, and violations of Client s policies.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    Write clear, concise, and informative documentation for stakeholder alignment. Draft business requirements, contribute to the team s knowledge base, and document findings and actions clearly.
  • Escalation Management:
    Manage and respond to escalations from internal and external parties. Provide on-call support for organization-wide P0 issues and escalations. Ensure the timely resolution of critical matters.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Transparency:
    Support core verification operations and regulatory compliance requirements. Stay ahead of consumer risk and regulatory trends by anticipating and deploying effective enforcement strategies.


Top 3 Daily Responsibilities
  1. Data Analysis:
    Perform complex data analyses and deliver actionable data insights that drive decisions. Identify opportunities for operational improvements and automation.
  2. Collaboration with Teams:
    Work closely with abuse mitigation teams to investigate and enforce policies against fraudulent activity, ensuring product safety and trust.
  3. Documentation:
    Write detailed and clear documentation to align stakeholders, draft business requirements, and contribute to the development of the team's knowledge base.

Mandatory Skills/Qualifications
  • Education:
    • BA/BS degree in a quantitative or technical discipline.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with databases and querying (e.g., SQL, MySQL, MapReduce, Hadoop).
    • Proven experience in coding (e.g., C/C++, Python, Java), statistical analysis (e.g., R, Stata, SPSS, SAS).
    • Strong understanding of how the internet works economically and socially.

Qualifications
  • Education:
    • BA/BS degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related technical field.
  • Experience:
    • 7+ years of relevant work experience.
    • Experience in fraud risk management, investigations, Internet advertising, or e-commerce.
    • Experience working in a security or privacy team focused on data protection and user trust.
    • Deep understanding of online advertising and regulatory trends.
  • Interpersonal Skills:
    • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional Experience:
    • Expertise in fraud risk management and investigation, particularly in Internet advertising or e-commerce.
    • Experience with working in a security or privacy team focused on user trust and data protection.
  • Interpersonal Skills:
