Job Details

Job Title: UAT Test Engineer

Location: Metro Atlanta, GA (MUST be local to Metro Atlanta)
Experience Required: 8+ Years

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and execute UAT test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements.

  • Lead and facilitate daily defect triage meetings and provide regular testing progress reports.

  • Manage and track defects, test results, and metrics using Jira and Xray.

  • Drive and report on interface and integration testing activities.

  • Collaborate closely with project teams to plan and manage UAT schedules and ensure timely issue resolution.

  • Report the progress of UAT testing cycles to project stakeholders and leadership.

  • Identify gaps in test coverage and recommend improvements to meet business requirements.

  • Develop test strategies and test plans for complex, multi-system environments.

  • Conduct test execution and facilitate sign-off from stakeholders.

  • Ensure compliance with Software Quality Assurance best practices and SDLC processes.

  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve conflicts and maintain alignment on deliverables.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.

  • Thorough understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.

  • Hands-on experience with HP/Mercury Quality Center.

  • Proficiency in Jira and Xray for defect management and test reporting.

  • Experience testing web applications in AWS environments.

  • Strong knowledge of test planning, test case design, execution, and QA reporting.

  • Proven experience facilitating and managing UAT activities across multiple teams.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.

  • Ability to identify, document, and communicate testing gaps and risks proactively.
