Job Title: BI Reporting Admin (MicroStrategy Administrator)
Location: Reston, VA (Hybrid - 1-2 Days/Month)
Job Type: Contract
Overview:
We are seeking a MicroStrategy Administrator to manage, install, and support MicroStrategy BI platforms on Linux (VMware/on-prem & AWS). This is an administration role (not development/analysis) involving deployment, migration, troubleshooting, and automation.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and administer MicroStrategy (on-prem & cloud).
- Support migrations (on-prem AWS, data center data center).
- Manage deployments across dev, test, and prod environments.
- Automate tasks with scripting (Python, Shell).
- Support performance tuning, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide on-call support.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of MicroStrategy administration (Linux/VMware).
- Strong experience with AWS (EC2, S3, migrations).
- SQL (Postgres, MySQL) expertise.
- Scripting (Shell/Python) for automation.
- Experience with Power BI; AWS QuickSight a plus.
- Knowledge of LDAP/AD, Redshift, Aurora Postgres.
- Certifications in MicroStrategy or AWS are a plus.
