Director of Credit - Retail Distribution

The Credit Director position will oversee and manage the Credit and Chargeback teams to include training, monitoring portfolio of accounts, produce and work with aging reports, minimizing bad debt exposure, and identifying process improvement opportunities to improve cash flow and reduce past due receivables.

This position is responsible for the credit processes to include, creditworthiness assessment, and periodic reviews for a portfolio of customers, lead the Credit / Chargeback teams collaboration with sales in a flexible, customer centric approach to support company growth objectives and to participate in Sales Meetings and meetings with Executive Leadership

Required Skills/Education

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or business management
• 8+ years Credit Management experience, including experience with large-scale retail customers
• 2+ years experience managing teams
• Strong experience using SAP, MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Strong and effective analytical, communication and negotiation skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
