Job Title: Linux System Administrator/DevOps Engineer

Work Location: Phoenix, AZ 85054 (Day One Onsite)

Interview: Webex

Duration: Long Term

Must Have:

Job Description:

  • interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design.
  • Also, you will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts.
  • You would also be working on Linux and OpenShift based SRE platforms by supporting the applications.
  • You are also required to have adequate knowledge of hosting and managing the cloud infrastructure and applications.
  • A knowledge of Splunk, Graphana, Dynatrace is good to have.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in IT industry as a Linux System Administrator/DevOps Engineer with responsibilities comprising of Development, Systems Administration and Software Configuration Management (SCM)
  • At least 3 years of experience as part of infrastructure team on Installation, Configuration, Upgrading, Support, and Maintenance of various Linux flavors
  • At least 3 years of experience in DevOps, Build and Release Engineer includes automating, building, deploying, managing and releasing of code from one environment to other, tightly maintaining Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and Continuous Deployment in multiple environments like (DEVEL/TEST/STAGE & PROD).
  • At least 3 years of experience in Agile Knowledge of ceremonies.
  • At least 3 years of experience working on OpenShift, Splunk, Dynatrace, Graphana etc.
  • At least 3 years of experience in installing Firmware Upgrades, Installations, administration, kernel patches, upgrade, configuration, performance tuning, troubleshooting, Backup and Recovery of Unix/Linux systems.
  • Experience and knowledge of at least one of the following Document based DBs - Cassandra, Couchbase, Redis, MySQL, MongoDB etc.
  • Non-relational database experience e.g. Couchbase or MongoDB

Relational database experience in db2/PostGreSQL
