Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team remotely. In this role, you will manage and optimize infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and Oracle Cloud, working closely with development teams to build and maintain robust, automated CI/CD pipelines and scalable cloud infrastructure. Your contributions will help ensure rapid, secure, and reliable deployments across multiple environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
- Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent.
- Collaborate with developers to integrate DevOps best practices into the SDLC.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.
- Manage and optimize multi-cloud environments (Google Cloud Platform and Oracle Cloud) for performance, cost-efficiency, and security.
- Ensure capacity planning, disaster recovery, and infrastructure monitoring are in place.
- Support containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Monitor applications and infrastructure using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or Google Cloud Platform cloud observability.
- Troubleshoot system and application issues to maintain high availability.
- Continuously research and adopt new technologies to improve performance and reliability.
- Perform other related DevOps duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- 7 8 years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar technical role.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and Oracle Cloud.
- Proficient in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab CI/CD).
- Advanced knowledge in containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.
- Experience working with monitoring/logging tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog, Google Cloud Platform observability.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or Go.
- Proficient with version control systems such as Git, Bitbucket.
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals: DNS, TCP/IP, Load Balancing.
Nice to Have:
- Certifications in Google Cloud Platform, Terraform, or Kubernetes
- Experience with multi-cloud environments or hybrid cloud strategies
- Familiarity with cost optimization in cloud platforms
