Position Summary:
A technology-driven manufacturer of advanced car wash equipment and controls is seeking a Technical Trainer to lead training programs for internal teams, customers, and distributor partners. As a Technical Trainer, you will focus on developing and presenting technical training related to control systems, ensuring users gain the skills to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment with confidence. You will create technical guides, lead onboarding sessions for customers, and provide ongoing training for field service distributors. You will be expected to help with the improvement of the team s technical skills to meet the company's quality guidance expectations. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical background with networking fundamentals, paired with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, engaging instruction.
Experience and Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree or Trade School in a related field preferred
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in a technical training role, such as in networking, software, troubleshooting, technical or field support
  • Experience conducting training in classroom, virtual, and onboarding settings (including phone-based training)
  • Knowledge of instructional design concepts and adult learning methods
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and technical aptitude
  • Certification such as CTT+ (Certified Technical Trainer) (a plus)
  • Experience within Car Wash Industry (a plus)
  • Knowledge of Point of Sales Systems (a plus)

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver technical training programs for internal teams, customers, and distributor partners.
  • Develop and maintain clear training guides, manuals, and documentation to support product use and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct onboarding sessions for new customers and provide ongoing training for field service distributors.
  • Facilitate classroom and remote training sessions, adapting methods to fit audience needs and learning styles.
  • Incorporate networking fundamentals and control systems knowledge into all training programs.
  • Continuously improve training by collecting participant feedback and updating content to reflect product enhancements and industry best practices.
  • Partner with technical support and field service teams to align training with real-world service needs and challenges.
  • Ensure all training materials and delivery align with company quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of equipment, controls, and point-of-sale integrations.
  • Provide timely and accurate responses to training-related technical questions and escalate issues when appropriate.
  • Contribute to curriculum development by mapping course content to business goals and skill requirements.
  • Support special projects and initiatives that advance training effectiveness and strengthen customer experience.
