Description:
Our client seeks a Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in robotics and early-stage product development. You'll work closely with R&D, design, and production teams to drive manufacturability across new robotic systems. Responsibilities include applying DFM/DFMA principles to prototype and production designs, optimizing assembly processes, and supporting pilot builds to ensure smooth design-to-production transitions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with R&D to integrate DFM/DFMA into new product designs.
- Develop and refine manufacturing processes for robotic assemblies.
- Support prototyping, tooling, and pilot production efforts.
- Drive design reviews focused on manufacturability, cost, and scalability.
- Work cross-functionally with design, quality, and supply chain teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechatronics, or Robotics Engineering.
- Experience in robotics or automation systems (preferred in R&D environments).
- Strong knowledge of DFM/DFMA and tolerance analysis.
- Hands-on experience with prototyping and manufacturing techniques.
