Position: Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)
Location: Rock Island Arsenal, IL - Onsite
Duration: Direct Hire/Full time
Job Description:
Required Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance, with ability to obtain TS/SCI eligibility
Certs: CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP
Job Duties
Manage RMF activities in accordance with NIST 800-37, ICD 503 and DoD requirements.
Prepare, review and submit Cybersecurity/Information Assurance documentation to include, but not limited to, System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessments, Standard Operating Procedures, Body of Evidence (BoE) documentation, Authority To Connect (ATC), and Assessment and Authorization (A&A) packages.
Serve as a systems administrator
Review audit log reports for potential security issues
Image and configure workstations
Track and assist with any technical issues related to systems or peripherals
Run fiber and CAT5/6 network cables
Troubleshoot computers, cabling, Voice over IP devices, printers, multi-function devices, and video teleconferencing (VTC) equipment
Assist with resolving issues with communications security (COMSEC) devices
Help the unit accredit and maintain a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF)
Ensure systems remain operational, compliant, and active on requisite networks
Perform scans and apply patches
Set up and operate VTC equipment
Send status reports to the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) and the Project Manager
Create and update network diagrams, floor layouts, etc.

Required Education and Experience: Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience.
Required Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance, with ability to obtain TS/SCI eligibility (ship required).
Required Certification: Qualified at the IAM Level II for the DoD Information Assurance Workforce, must possess one of the following certifications: CompTIA Security+ or higher

Familiarity with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)
