Job Title: SAP Supply Chain Project Manager

Location: Newark, CA (Onsite)
Duration: Long Team

Reports To: Director SAP Program Delivery / IT PMO

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Supply Chain Project Manager to lead and manage end-to-end implementation and transformation projects within the SAP Supply Chain domain. The ideal candidate will combine strong project management expertise with deep knowledge of supply chain processes and SAP modules (such as MM, PP, WM/EWM, SD, and IBP). This role demands a strategic leader who can manage cross-functional teams, engage with business stakeholders, and ensure successful delivery of complex SAP projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the full lifecycle of SAP Supply Chain projects, including planning, execution, delivery, and post-go-live support.
  • Manage scope, schedule, resources, budget, risk, and communication for multiple concurrent SAP initiatives.
  • Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, define objectives, and align project outcomes with business goals.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams, functional consultants, business users, and third-party vendors.
  • Oversee data migration, system integration, testing, training, and change management activities.
  • Ensure alignment with global SAP template and governance models.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to executive leadership.
  • Lead issue resolution and provide timely escalation as needed.
  • Support business readiness and cutover planning activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement and best practices in SAP project delivery and supply chain operations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or PMP certification a plus).
  • 5-7+ years of experience in managing large-scale SAP projects.
  • Strong functional understanding of SAP Supply Chain modules (MM, PP, SD, EWM/WM, IBP, etc.).
  • Proven experience leading SAP S/4HANA implementation or upgrade projects.
  • Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
