We are seeking a highly skilled and self-driven Unified Communications Engineer (Zoom Specialist) to facilitate an enterprise-level deployment, configuration, and support of Zoom across our organization. This individual will be responsible for Zoom platform engineering and administration, with a focus on integrating Zoom into a hybrid Cisco/Webex environment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with proven expertise in Zoom technologies, unified communications, and collaboration ecosystems based on WebEx hardware.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and manage Zoom Meetings and Webinars on WebEx hardware.
  • Engineer integration of Zoom with Webex/Cisco UC platforms, including physical room configurations.
  • Work with SIP trunking, VoIP, and SBCs to ensure reliable call routing and interoperability.
  • Architect, provision, and troubleshoot Zoom deployment to existing endpoints and room systems (hardware + software).
  • Lead migration and integration initiatives, configuring Webex rooms into Zoom Proof of Concept while retaining WebEx functionality.
  • Collaborate within IT network and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless deployments.
  • Act as SME for Zoom technologies; provide Tier-3 escalation support.
  • Contribute to architecture design and roadmap for scaling Zoom usage enterprise-wide.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Unified Communications engineering.
  • 5+ years hands-on with Zoom platform (Zoom Rooms, Zoom Phone, Meetings, Webinars).
  • Strong experience with Webex/Cisco UC and hybrid environments.
  • Knowledge of SIP trunking, VoIP, SBCs, and telephony protocols.
  • Background in architecture design + hands-on implementation (L2).
  • Self-starter, able to work independently and drive global initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Local candidates highly preferred (onsite access to data centers/engineers).

Engagement

  • Contract: 4 6 months, with fast-paced deliverables.
  • Start date: Target mid-October (ASAP).
  • Location: Local preferred (onsite 5x/week). Remote considered with strong expertise.
